*Since in-person programming has been suspended since the onset of COVID-19 in March, 2020, our volunteer program has been on hold as well!
Community volunteers make up a critical part of our program.
Are you thinking about becoming a teacher? Do you have a specific interest in a science topic that you'd like to share with students?
We have numerous opportunities for volunteers. You could help with the class, prepare activities and exhibits, take care of our animals, or possibly run an activity yourself!
***note that all volunteers are required to commit to a 3-month minimum, and at least 3 hrs/week!
In January we will update our listings on VolunteerMatch:
Are you a parent or teacher who wants to bring more hand-on science into your school or community?
Are you an employer looking for new ways to connect with the local community and support hands-on science education?
There are many different ways that Mission Science collaborates with other organizations in the community to bring quality science education to underserved K-12 youth. Please contact us for more information!
Mission Science Workshop depends on government and private foundation grants, sponsorships and individual donations to sustain our operations.
If you'd like to support our program financially with a one-time or recurring tax-deductible donation please visit our Donation Page, or contact us for more sponsorship opportunities.
We appreciate your support!
